May 7th, 2008 | 1 Comment | Posted in Software

Microsoft finally released Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) into internet after a couple of postpones due to software compatibility problems. Similar problems has been found in Windows Vista SP1.

Windows XP SP3 update is also available in Windows Update and Microsoft Download Center to be downloaded by Microsoft consumers. Actually, Microsoft had been planning to release this XP SP3 at the end of April 2008 ago. However, as quoted from PCWorld, Wednesday (07/05/2008), they have found problems with compatibility on application named Microsoft Dynamic RMS, a business software. This problem has caused the launching delay.

As they have planned, Microsoft finally decide to put filter, thus Service Pack XP and Vista will not go to users who use Dynamic RMS in order to avoid problems. Microsoft is also hoping that the problem with that particular software compatibility can be solved within next couple of months.
