Recharge Your Mobile Batteries With Water

June 12th, 2008 Posted in Gadget, mobile

We all know that our cellphone battery is Lithium. And when it runs out we have to charge it with electricity. But with this phone, if the battery runs out, you can only charge it with water. Yes, you hear me right….water.

A cellphone battery with water as source of energy? Believe it or not, a Japanese electronic company, NEC is planning to launch a cellphone type that use battery with water as its energy supplier. This battery will use Liquid Fuel Cell technology, a technology that can create an electricity energy from chemical reaction.

NEC has not released any official or further details about this gadget, but they already show the picture of the battery in their website. Using transparent case to make it easier for its user to know when the battery runs out. Looks like we all only have to carry water in a small bottle than a charger or adapter in the future.
