New MacBook Will Use Glass Trackpad
Seth Weintraub, writter from 9to5Mac has gave us a leak about the new MacBook which will be released by Apple. According to Weintraub source, this new MacBook will have some specs below:
- New MacBook will be thinner than MacBook and MacBook Pro that have been around with more rounded shape, similar to MacBook Air.
- Trackpad used is made from glass, multi touch and finger movement recognition. The screen is not multitouch (will this mean that MacBook will be touch screen)?
- Laptop case is made from a sheet of alloy. Environmental friendly, but still tough.
- Release schedule: End of September
Some other things that are predicted being used in the new MacBook:
- Might use Centrino 2. (or maybe Nehalem? if you remember when MacBook Air used new Intel processor before released to public)
- Screen 16:9 will have slightly bigger size: 14 inches and 15.6 inches.
- MacBook Air should use 45nm processor to save its battery usage.
According to Weintraub description, looks like the new MacBook will be a revolution of laptop design that has been around. So, if you’re planning to buy a MacBook, save your wallet first for this new upcoming MacBook.
