Microsoft: Windows 7 Project Is Still Rolling

Windows 7 operating system from Microsoft which is the Vista successor, is planned to be launched in 2010. At present, Microsoft claims that Windows 7 project is going very well. Thus, the Windows 7 launching in market will definitely able to be confirmed on time or even earlier than the projected schedule.

“This product is developing very well. We have a commitment to memorize Windows 7 three years after Windows Vista,” said Bill Veghte, Chief of Windows Unit as quoted from Cnet. So far, there is still very little detail publicly said regarding features. For instance, Windows 7 will have an interface multitouch and architecture that is very different from the previous version.

About which is often regarded as less acceptable in the market, Veghte said that 89 percent consumers who bought Vista were satisfied. Even the 83 percent recommended it to friends or relatives. On the other side, CEO Microsoft Steve Ballmer also refuses to give detail explanations regarding Windows 7. Ballmer only said that Windows 7 will look great.
